Practice Post
As soon as possible, do a first practice post-no, this doesn't count toward the "big five" posts per book-we're just doing a test to make sure you can post successfully. DeleteMy favorite book is a tie between Lament by Maggie Stiefvater and Texas Gothic by Rosemary Clement-Moore, because I'm into that weird supernatural fiction.

DeleteI would have to say my favorite book of all time is Gone with the Wind. Whenever I was worried it was about to end I would still have hundreds of pages left.

ReplyDeleteThe Hunger Games are amazing--do you read other dystopian lit? You might like 1984 by Orwell or The Handmaid's Tale by Atwood if you haven't read them yet. Or Lord of the Flies by Golding. I, too, am a bit obsessed with dystopian literature.

I play for our school golf team as well as the tennis team. My favorite book is "That Was Then, This is Now" by S.E. Hinton simply because it gave me a look at a time era I didn't know much about and connected with me in a special way to where I could feel for certain characters and what they were going through.

ReplyDeleteHello, I am Zack Compora. I am obsessed with staying fit and personally I find it as a hobby. I play lacrosse all year round and use to play football until I broke my hand. I also have played baseball my entire life, my brother and I have played the same sports as each other all our lives with the exception of lacrosse. When I'm not working out, playing lacrosse, or in school, I am probably sleeping (just a little fun fact).

ReplyDeleteHi! Oops I forgot to do the practice post first. Well I'm Shyla Patterson and I am a cheerleader, I absolutely love reading, but as long as they are books that I choose. I probably read 3-5 a week. I have three siblings, two older sisters and one older brother (yes I am the baby, but few of the birth order characteristics apply to me). I want to become a veterinarian when I am older, I love every animal on this planet :)

I don't have many hobbies because my free time is limited by the sports I play year-round. I love hanging out with my buds and playing video games! I'm excited to meet you and start this year!

I'm trying to find some spare time to finish Catching Fire so I can watch the movie in November! My latest hobby is doing puzzles with my mom. When I grow up I know that I want to work in the medical field just like my dad.

There are many others I enjoy but I don't have enough time to name all of them. I have 3 biological siblings and 4 step siblings. My sister and I challenged each other to complete all of our puzzles over the summer.I love Sarah Dessen's books, and have read most of them. I just read her recent book, The Moon and More in two days.

I would love to go into some kind of Vet/Medical filed when i am older because of how much i love people and animals. My summer has been great up to this point, but i hope there are many more great memories to come before school starts back up!!

ReplyDeleteHi, I'm Emmalee Bobak! I'm currently a choir member at the high school and I work part-time (unfortunately it feels like full-time occasionally) at the Toledo Zoo. I've actually been there about four months and I love it there. It's extremely hard for me to pick my favorite book because I read so much, but one of the novels I'll probably never forget is American Wife by Curtis Sittenfeld.
